The modernisation of the circular 3.8km-long western track section of the underground U4 between Hütteldorf and Schönbrunn stations was completed in just 128 days of construction. The project included improving the substructure of the line, re-work on the superstructure, civil engineering works/station reconstruction, as well as the reconstruction of the 100m-long vault, which is 120 years old.
