What does your typical day at PlanRadar look like?

I manage a team of four members, so part of the day is spent on coaching, analysis and reporting, I also make cold calls, send Emails, conduct webinars and follow up on the prospects.

It sounds monotonous, but I enjoy the fact that every day, I am speaking to new people, convincing them to attend the demos and purchase the application.

I learn about their company, their industries, and their leaders, so a lot of research is involved as well.


When would you call a day in your position a successful one?

A successful day is when I have made at least one thing 1 percent better, and I usually exceed!

I define success as fulfilling my role in my team and the company.

I evaluate success based not only on my work but also on the work of my team.

In order for me to be considered successful, the team needs to achieve both our individual and our team goals.

A successful day is one where I can lay down in my bed and think of just one accomplishment that puts a little happiness in my soul.

I completed my training as a graphic designer at die Graphische in Vienna and started my first full-time job directly at PlanRadar. I am mostly responsible for marketing materials in the company. I am happy to be part of a young, dedicated team and to be involved in the expansion of PlanRadar.

The day usually starts with a look at the task board. This is followed by a short research and brainstorming session, sometimes supported by sketches. Then the implementation starts, which is always an evolving process. My tasks change every day, which is something I particularly like.

I would call my day successful if I am satisfied with my designs at the end of the day. It’s also successful when so many ideas come to my mind that I can’t keep up with them all.

It is quite challenging to write about my typical day. My main role is Customer Success, so for a majority of my day I am helping clients with questions they have or educating/ training new clients on how to use PlanRadar. However, alongside helping clients, I also provide support to our Sales department, work alongside our automated marketing manager, and work closely with our marketing and content writers to help publish content about our new features.


When would you call a day in your position a successful one?

For me, a successful day is when I leave work satisfied. An example is when I educate a customer who was lost and didn’t know how PlanRadar works, and after our short crash course together, they will go off on their own and they won’t need me anymore because they can do it all on their own. I Process the sales leads and tickets that reach the company through different channels and ensure the tasks are performed correctly. I support the team to overcome their issues and achieve their tasks more professionally.

When I meet new issues that needs analysis regarding the tasks, and I overcome it easily in a good way. And when I discover a more creative way to finish tasks faster and more professionally and share it with the lead management team.

It is like working in a progressive company that focuses on building of open-minded, friendly and modern environment full of amazing people, where you simply enjoy spending 1/3 of your day. I feel fully supported to demonstrate all my digital marketing skills, while constantly learning something new thanks to the excellent marketing team hat gathered here in PlanRadar.

I can really enthuse about travelling, foreign cultures and languages, marketing, books and food. Combination of all the above mentioned is a simple perfection to me – that’s why I decided to put them all into practice by backpacking across Central and South America for almost 9 months while remotely managing marketing department in a Slovak IT company. Behind my introvertive mask, a spontaneous, adventurous, or sarcastic soul pops up sometimes.


What does your typical day at PlanRadar look like?

Every day brings something different and so far, it has never been stereotypical or boring. Starting everyday with my morning coffee and tee routine, I check my running campaigns, slowly moving to setting up new campaigns or optimizing existing ones. Additionally, campaign evaluation, content creation, collaboration with different departments and plenty of other activities come into play. In between, you can expect to get a short and spontaneous language lesson from our creative colleague about the weirdest German words one can imagine or simply share a laugh (and knowledge) across the department.


When would you call a day in your position a successful one?

I guess I should probably say that a successful day is when I hit my marketing goals, right? But generally speaking, I really enjoy days when I can fully focus on setting up of new campaigns or implementing new ideas that bear fruit.


What would you tell future candidates?

Days here go by on fast, but regardless of its challenges, of its fast or at times, slower pace, I have here all I could need. I start with a coffee, greeting some colleagues, and then I get into the thick of it. There’s not going to be someone at your back however, because here you are expected and given the responsibility to get your part done, the way you do best, and in your time. No matter if it is a rainy, cloudy or sunny day, a typical day at PlanRadar is a good day.

Everyday is a successful day, no matter how many things got done well nor how many things went wrong. Here, we accept that we’re human, therefore, we make mistakes, but we learn from them and move onwards.
